About NephroDIP

NephroDIP (V.1.0) integrates data obtained from 134 high throughput studies, available from PubMed NCBI, containing 260 unique comparisons relevant to the kidney allograft. NephroDIP contains data from 83262 molecules with expression information across three bio-specimens: kidney, blood, and urine. These molecules consist of: 44832 genes, 4125 proteins, 28627 single nucleotide variants (SNVs), 77 metabolites, and 5601 epigenetic signatures.

NephroDIP can be searched by molecule of interest through the “Molecules” tab (e.g. gene symbol, uniprot ID). This gives information on direction of regulation (e.g. up- or down-regulated) between comparator groups in a comparison. Searching by molecule is integrated with Drugst. One and NAViGaTOR for protein-protein interactions between searched IDs, mirDIP for predicted microRNAs of IDs, pathDIP for pathways enriched among IDs, and Catrin for transcriptional regulatory interactions of searched IDs.

NephroDIP can also be searched by study parameters of interest through the “Studies” tab (e.g. outcome/exposure, bio-specimen, methodology) to obtain standardized high throughput data on various kidney transplantation analyses of interest.

All information and data on comparisons available in NephroDIP can be downloaded.
